The Weekly Blade is an Interactive News Weekly Program; a typical news program presented by two main hosts and related to other segments producers and reporters available both locally and abroad.
The Weekly Blade will focus on recent and upcoming events; reports and stories from the US and overseas presented and prepared by each producer- presenter. We will include and additional 5 to 6 stories in each episode, as well as focusing on one main feature, there is a possibility to have a guest in the studio dependent on topic and need.
None of the topics are fixed, meaning each week different topics and different subjects with different presenters will be featured. This technique allows us to keep the rhythm and the interaction on a high level to attract our audience.
After our European launch and with the presence of our correspondents in London, Paris and Rome in the region along with our existing contacts in Arab World will provide us with a wide range of interesting stories. The live window along with the correspondent presenting his feature and report, will project that the Weekly Blade is a global variety program with a diverse range of interests.
The Weekly Blade is a live to tape program, having the look of ABC’s Good Morning America, CNN’s Morning Show or the French Program Tele Matin. These three programs have a unique style, and a unique look, but all of them aim at the same targets:
- Live interaction between the hosts and the presenters,
- Fast rhythm and nice short presented stories,
- With a large variety of different Weekly Topics.
The Weekly Blade will be 45 to 50 minutes long with 4 breaks.
Each segment could include one or 2 stories depending on the topic.
If the show runs for one hour it means that the news summary will be integrated into the show. But it won’t be 9 minutes show as summary should follow the rhythm of the program.
This program may have the ability to thru to a live breaking news event, if an upcoming event happens.
